Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow is hosting the SDCEP conference on the 18th March 2019.

The aim of this day is to provide dentists with an insight into guidance development and implementation, including the latest updates on recent publications producedby the Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP). The work of the Translation Research in a Dental Setting (TRiaDS) Programme in collaboration with SDCEP will be discussed, with a focus on how research to understand implementation in general practice is carried out.

The day will include  updates on new regulations in relation to amalgam use as well as clinical management of patients regarding antibiotic prophylaxis,Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw (MRONJ), anticoagulant drugs and conscious sedation.
