NDIP staff are trained in accordance with the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry standards for dental epidemiology. NDIP has training resources for each level of the NDIP – Basic and Detailed. Within this training package, inspectors can test their knowledge on our bank of clinical photographs. This must be completed annually as part of the calibration process. There are also resources for Scribes.
Inspectors and Dental support staff can also access training relating to the data collection tool via the TURAS Learn platform.
