Consultation on Draft Scottish Health Technical Memorandum (SHTM) 01-05

A draft of SHTM01-05, Management, equipment and process of the decontamination of dental instruments in a Local Decontamination Unit (LDU) in NHSScotland is now available for consultation and comment.

Note: Part C is based on the Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programme (SDCEP) and is specific to Local Decontamination Units (LDU) in dental healthcare.

Final formatting and accessibility assessment will be undertaken prior to publication.

Comments and feedback are invited from as wide a range of stakeholders as possible during the consultation period (1st November 2022 to 31st January 2023) and should be returned by using a separate comment’s templates for each part (A, B or C) as appropriate, and emailed directly to david.shaw3@nhs.scot
