Following the recent sectoral survey, of which 557 respondents provided their views, responses have been analysed and a report has been prepared which can be accessed here. It is clear from the survey report that reform is required and the results of the survey will be used to inform a revised Determination I.

Scottish Government continues to engage with the dental sector and an Advisory Group has been set up to consider the survey report and provide clinical advice on the treatment items that should be available in a revised Determination I. The Advisory Group is made up of General Dental Practitioners, Dental Care Professionals and Specialists, and a list of the group members is provided here. The agendas, meeting notes and other papers relating to the Advisory Group can be viewed below and this will be updated on a regular basis.
