Reopening dental practices – Latest CDO update

This latest CDO letter provides information on plans to reintroduce dental services on a phased basis over the course of this month. A specific date being confirmed following the next 3-weekly lockdown review point on the 18 June.

Practices are advised to:-

  • implement the recommendations of the SDCEP practice recovery toolkit
  • Prepare a single surgery for seeing patients
  • Ensure they have adequate supplies of PPE
  • Have access copy of the draft SDR amendment 144.
